Universal Maze Escape Mechanism module by Eduplay – builds problem solving and spatial reasoning

How it works

The Universal Maze plus five coloured mechanism tiles: kids steer pieces with the wand and find their way past each one.

Ages 4+Mounts on a STEAM Wall

Build the maze

Lock the maze tiles together on the wall, adding the five coloured mechanism tiles.
Steer with the wand

Use the red wand to slide a piece through the channels behind the clear cover.
Get past the gates

Each coloured mechanism is a little gate in the way. Work out how to pass it and reach the exit.

What it's actually made of

Real wood, finished properly. Nothing cheap hiding under the paint.

Shown: the STEAM Wall board every game attaches to. This game itself is made of beech, water-based paint.

Still thinking it through?

Quick answers to what parents ask us most.

Still have a question?Message us on WhatsApp. We usually reply within minutes.

What age is it for?

Ages 4 and up. We recommend Escape Mechanism + Universal Maze for children 4 years and up. Younger children should always play with an adult nearby.

Do I need tools to install it?

Just a normal drill, about 20 minutes. The step-by-step guide is in the product photos. Once the panels are up, games attach without tools.

Is it safe for little hands?

Yes. It's made from beech · water-based paint, with smooth-sanded edges. The STEAM Wall range is tested to EN71, the European toy-safety standard. Made in an ISO 9001 certified factory.

How long does delivery take?

10–15 business days across the UAE. Delivery is free on orders over AED 299. If anything arrives damaged, defective or wrong, you can return it within 7 days.

Will my child actually play with it?

It's made to be played with, not watched. Everything is hands-on and open-ended, so there's always something new to try, build or figure out. When they've mastered it, you can add a new game to the same wall.

What makes Eduplay different?

Real materials, honestly listed. This one is beech · water-based paint, with smooth-sanded edges, built for years of daily play and to be handed down to the next child.
